Responsibility
- Curate and manage contemporary fine art exhibitions from concept through installation.
- Collaborate with artists, collectors, and community partners to select and acquire works.
- Develop engaging educational programs and public events to enrich visitor experiences.
- Oversee catalog production, exhibition labels, and interpretive materials.
- Manage relationships with high-profile clients and institutions, ensuring exceptional service and professionalism.
- Coordinate logistics for installations, shipping, insurance, and conservation.
- Lead marketing initiatives to promote exhibitions and enhance gallery visibility.
- Supervise support staff and interns, fostering a culture of creativity and teamwork.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fine Arts, Art History, Museum Studies, or related field.
- 3+ years experience curating exhibitions in a gallery or museum setting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of contemporary fine art and emerging trends.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Proven project management and organizational abilities.
- Strong network within the arts community a plus.
- Proficient in art inventory systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Engaged, resourceful, and client-oriented mindset.
