Lumina Arts & Gallery is seeking a visionary Gallery Curator to lead our Fine Arts program in New York City. This role blends rigorous scholarship with dynamic exhibition planning to elevate a respected institution with a global reach.
You will collaborate with artists, lenders, conservators, and museums to design exhibitions that illuminate diverse voices and spark critical dialogue.

Responsibility
- Develop and implement curatorial strategies for rotating and long term exhibitions.
- Collaborate with artists, lenders, museums, galleries, and institutions to assemble compelling bodies of work.
- Manage exhibition budgets, timelines, installation schedules, and logistical coordination.
- Produce scholarly wall labels, catalog entries, and accompanying digital content.
- Oversee collection management, conservation coordination, and loan documentation.
- Coordinate loans, shipping, insurance, and installation with vendors and venue staff.
- Lead audience engagement, education programs, and press outreach to maximize impact.
Qualification
- Master's degree in Art History or related field; PhD preferred.
- Minimum 5 years curatorial experience in fine arts or contemporary art.
- Strong knowledge of conservation, archiving, and ethical standards in collecting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, editing, and grant writing skills.
- Proven project management, budgeting, and cross functional collaboration abilities.
- Experience with artists, lenders, museums, and galleries; strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with collection management software and cataloging standards.
