Responsibility
- Provide comprehensive primary care to adult patients, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans, monitor disease progression, and adjust therapies as needed.
- Promote preventive care and health maintenance, including screenings, vaccinations, and lifestyle counseling.
- Collaborate with specialists and care teams to coordinate referrals and ensure integrated patient care.
- Document patient encounters accurately in the EMR and maintain meticulous charting in compliance with regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical protocols, and continuing medical education activities.
- Provide patient and family education to support informed decision-making and self-management.
Qualification
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school; board-certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Active New York medical license or eligibility with the ability to obtain; DEA license preferred.
- Minimum 3+ years of clinical practice in primary care or hospital outpatient settings.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and patient-centered approach.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and modern diagnostic tools.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and time-management skills.
- Commitment to ongoing medical education and quality patient care.
- Current BLS/ACLS certification or eligible.
