Responsibility

  • Provide comprehensive ambulatory care for adults and older adults in a busy outpatient setting.
  • Conduct preventive care, routine Wellness exams, vaccinations, and health screenings.
  • Develop and manage treatment plans for chronic conditions (e.g., hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, COPD).
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, including labs, EKGs, and point-of-care assessments.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, specialists, and care coordinators to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Document patient encounters accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and ensure compliance with coding and billing standards.
  • Educate patients on lifestyle modifications, disease prevention, and medication adherence.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to clinic-wide best practices.

Qualification

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited program.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or General Medicine.
  • Valid California medical license or eligibility to obtain one (or the ability to obtain in a reasonable timeframe).
  • Minimum 3 years of outpatient/general medicine experience; strong aptitude for chronic disease management.
  • Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems (Epic or equivalent).
