Responsibility

  • Provide high-quality outpatient care across a broad spectrum of general medicine conditions
  • Perform comprehensive physical exams, preventive care, and routine screenings
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses with evidence-based treatment plans
  • Coordinate care with specialists, imaging, and laboratory services
  • Document findings accurately in the EMR and ensure continuity of care
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety initiatives
  • Mentor medical students or residents as part of a teaching hospital or academic affiliation
  • Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours patient access as required

Qualification

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school; board-certified or eligible in Internal Medicine or General Medicine
  • Active medical license in Massachusetts or eligibility to obtain one
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of outpatient clinical experience preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient-centered care skills
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and data-driven decision making
  • Commitment to preventive care, chronic disease management, and health equity
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
