Responsibility
- Provide high-quality outpatient care across a broad spectrum of general medicine conditions
- Perform comprehensive physical exams, preventive care, and routine screenings
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses with evidence-based treatment plans
- Coordinate care with specialists, imaging, and laboratory services
- Document findings accurately in the EMR and ensure continuity of care
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety initiatives
- Mentor medical students or residents as part of a teaching hospital or academic affiliation
- Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours patient access as required
Qualification
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school; board-certified or eligible in Internal Medicine or General Medicine
- Active medical license in Massachusetts or eligibility to obtain one
- Minimum of 2-3 years of outpatient clinical experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient-centered care skills
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and data-driven decision making
- Commitment to preventive care, chronic disease management, and health equity
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
