Responsibility
- Provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population across the full spectrum of general medicine.
- Deliver preventive care, wellness visits, screenings, and vaccination programs.
- Manage acute and chronic illnesses, perform diagnostic workups, and coordinate care with specialists.
- Collaborate with nurses, pharmacists, social workers, and care coordinators to develop evidence-based treatment plans.
- Document care accurately in the EMR, maintain high-quality metrics, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, healthy lifestyles, and treatment options; mentor medical students or residents as needed.
- Participate in clinic coverage and on-call rotations as required to support patient access and continuity of care.
Qualification
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) licensed in Washington State or eligible for licensure.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine; demonstrated commitment to ongoing certification.
- Active WA medical license and DEA registration.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in general medicine; exceptional new graduates with strong residency training considered.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), clinical documentation, and data-driven care.
- Commitment to quality improvement, preventive care, and culturally competent practice.
