We are seeking a skilled General Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient support, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
As a Medical Physician, you will evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions, emphasize preventive care, and guide patients through treatment plans. This role offers a mix of patient-facing care, teaching, and clinical leadership opportunities.
Responsibility
- Provide comprehensive medical evaluations for adults, diagnosing common and complex conditions.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans for acute and chronic illnesses.
- Manage chronic diseases including hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular risk, and preventive care strategies.
- Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and allied health professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic medical record and ensure continuity of care.
- Engage in patient education, care coordination, and shared decision making.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance activities.
Qualification
- Medical degree MD or DO; board certified or board eligible in internal medicine or family medicine.
- Active state medical license in Massachusetts or eligibility for licensure.
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in general medicine or internal medicine.
- Strong diagnostic, clinical reasoning, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and telemedicine platforms.
- Commitment to patient-centered care, ethics, and confidentiality.
- Basic Life Support BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
- Willingness to participate in teaching, mentoring, and collaborative care initiatives.
