Responsibility

  • Provide comprehensive primary care to adults, focusing on preventive health and early disease detection.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses using evidence-based guidelines.
  • Collaborate with specialists, nurses, and care coordinators to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic medical record and ensure data integrity.
  • Develop and adjust treatment plans, including medication management and patient education.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to clinical protocols.
  • Mentor and supervise trainees and mid-level providers to promote clinical excellence.
  • Support on-call coverage and after-hours care to ensure continuity of care for patients.

Qualification

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited medical school.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
  • Active MA medical license or eligibility to practice in Massachusetts.
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in primary care.
  • Strong communication skills, empathy, and patient-centered approach.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR); experience with EPIC or similar system.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced outpatient environment; team-oriented mindset.
  • BLS and ACLS certification; commitment to ongoing professional development.
