Responsibility
- Provide comprehensive primary care to adult patients, focusing on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and families.
- Order, interpret, and manage diagnostic tests and laboratory workups; coordinate care with specialists as needed.
- Develop and implement evidence‑based treatment plans; monitor patient progress and adjust plans accordingly.
- Educate patients on disease prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and long‑term wellness strategies.
- Document thoroughly in the electronic medical record (EMR); ensure accurate coding and billing practices.
- Participate in after‑hours on‑call rotation and contribute to a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs to enhance care delivery.
Qualification
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Active and unrestricted medical license to practice in California or eligible for licensure.
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in general medicine or primary care preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient‑centered approach.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and clinical documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, diverse urban environment.
