Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive general medicine evaluations and develop patient-centered care plans for diverse patient populations.
- Manage acute and chronic conditions across the lifespan, with emphasis on preventive care and disease prevention strategies.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, specialists, pharmacists, and care coordinators to optimize patient outcomes.
- Document all clinical encounters accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) and ensure timely follow-up.
- Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests; adjust treatments based on patient response and guideline recommendations.
- Provide patient and family education on lifestyle modifications, treatment options, and care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer review, and on-call rotation as required.
Qualification
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board-certified or eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Active New York State medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Minimum 3+ years of clinical experience in general medicine or a proven track record in primary care.
- Excellent diagnostic, analytical, and problem-solving skills with strong clinical judgment.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities; compassionate patient-centered care.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and evidence-based guidelines; ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
