Responsibility
- Provide comprehensive medical care for adult patients with acute and chronic illnesses in a hospital-based setting.
- Perform thorough evaluations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and formulate evidence-based treatment plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, specialists, and care coordinators to optimize patient outcomes.
- Manage inpatient rounds, on-call shifts, and timely discharge planning.
- Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic health record (Epic preferred).
- Deliver patient and family education on disease prevention, treatment options, and follow-up care.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to standardization of clinical workflows.
Qualification
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine (ABIM or AOBIM).
- Active medical license in Massachusetts or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience in internal medicine or hospital medicine.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (Epic preferred) and clinical documentation.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
