We are seeking a board-certified General Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care across outpatient and hospital settings. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will influence care delivery on a daily basis, participate in continuous quality improvement, and contribute to a culture of excellence in patient outcomes.
Responsibility
- Provide comprehensive primary care for adult patients, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care visits.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, coordinating with specialists and allied health professionals.
- Perform routine examinations, interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe evidence-based therapies.
- Manage chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidemia with goal-oriented treatment plans.
- Collaborate with nursing staff, care coordinators, and administrative teams to optimize patient flow and satisfaction.
- Document care in the electronic medical record (EMR) with accuracy and completeness.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, case reviews, and continuing medical education.
- Provide on-call coverage as needed and support urgent care operations when required.
Qualification
- Medical degree (MD/DO) and board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Active medical license in New York State and DEA registration.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in general medicine or primary care.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical judgment skills, with excellent communication and patient empathy.
- Proficiency with electronic medical record systems and healthcare IT tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and adapt to a high-demand environment.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and continuous learning.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills a plus.
