MetroCare Medical Group is expanding its primary care team in New York City. We are seeking a compassionate, board-certified General Medicine Physician to deliver exceptional care across a diverse patient population. As a General Medicine Physician, you will diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of acute and chronic conditions, perform preventive care visits, and develop comprehensive care plans. Qualifications include board certification in Internal Medicine or General Medicine, valid NY license, and a minimum of three years of clinical experience.
Responsibility
- Provide comprehensive primary care for adult patients across the lifespan
- Assess, diagnose, and manage acute illnesses and chronic diseases
- Develop personalized preventive care and wellness plans
- Coordinate care with specialists and community resources
- Document all encounters accurately in the EMR and ensure continuity of care
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Mentor medical students or residents when applicable
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and after-hours coverage as required
Qualification
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board-certified in Internal Medicine or General Medicine
- Current NY State medical license or eligibility
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in general medicine
- Proficient in EMR systems and evidence-based practice
- Excellent communication, empathy, and patient-centered care
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced urban environment
