Responsibility
- Provide high-quality primary care to adult patients in an outpatient setting.
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and order/interpret diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for acute and chronic conditions.
- Coordinate referrals and collaborate with specialists and allied health teams.
- Document all patient encounters accurately in the EMR and ensure data integrity.
- Educate patients on preventive care, risk-factor modification, and wellness strategies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance metrics.
- Engage in continuous professional development and mentoring of staff where applicable.
Qualification
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school and board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Current and unrestricted medical license to practice in New York or eligibility for licensure.
- Minimum 3 years of outpatient primary care experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems; experience with EPIC or similar is a plus.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and teamwork abilities; fluent English; additional languages a plus.
- Ability to manage a diverse patient population and coordinate comprehensive care.
- U.S. work authorization or eligibility to obtain licensure in the U.S.
