Responsibility
- Provide comprehensive adult primary care in a fast-paced, patient-centered clinic setting.
- Manage chronic conditions (hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, COPD/asthma) using evidence-based protocols.
- Perform preventive care and screenings according to established guidelines.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (nurses, pharmacists, social workers) to coordinate patient care.
- Engage in quality improvement projects and patient safety initiatives.
- Participate in after-hours clinics or on-call coverage as needed.
- Document care accurately in the electronic health record and ensure timely billing.
- Provide patient education and counseling to support behavior change and adherence.
Qualification
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO); Board-certified or Board-eligible in General Medicine/Internal Medicine.
- Active medical license to practice in Massachusetts (or eligibility for licensure).
- Minimum of 3 years of clinically relevant primary care experience (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; commitment to patient-centered care.
- Proficiency with electronic health records and health information exchange.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, multidisciplinary team.
- Current CPR/BLS certification; willingness to participate in additional certifications as required.
