NovaCare Medical Group is seeking a dedicated General Medicine physician to join our patient centered practice in San Francisco. The ideal candidate is board certified or eligible in internal medicine or family medicine, holds a California medical license, and demonstrates exceptional clinical judgment and patient empathy.
Responsibility
- Provide comprehensive primary care for adult patients across a broad range of conditions
- Conduct comprehensive annual wellness visits and preventive care
- Manage chronic diseases with evidence based treatment plans
- Document patient encounters accurately in the EHR and coordinate with care teams
- Collaborate with specialists and multidisciplinary team for complex cases
- Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices and disease prevention
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer review
- Support after hours or on call schedule as required
Qualification
- Medical degree from an accredited school and board certification or eligibility in internal medicine or family medicine
- Active medical license in California or eligibility to obtain one
- Minimum 3 years of primary care clinic experience (new grads considered with strong residency)
- Proven clinical skills in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
- Proficiency with electronic health records and basic MS office tools
- Commitment to patient centered care and professional ethics
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced environment
