Responsibility
- Provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population in outpatient settings.
- Conduct thorough evaluations, diagnose illnesses, and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
- Manage chronic diseases through ongoing monitoring, medication optimization, and patient education.
- Collaborate with specialists, nurses, social workers, and care coordinators to coordinate seamless care.
- Embrace preventive care strategies and health maintenance for patients of all ages.
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) to document care, track outcomes, and ensure data quality.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education to maintain clinical excellence.
- Mentor medical residents or trainees and support a learning-focused clinical environment.
Qualification
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school; board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Active medical license to practice in Massachusetts and eligible for the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine; DEA registration.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in general medicine or primary care.
- Strong diagnostic acumen, clinical judgment, and compassionate patient communication.
- Proficiency with EMR systems, preventive care guidelines, and chronic disease management.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced outpatient setting with excellent organizational and teamwork skills.
