Responsibility
- Provide comprehensive primary care to adult patients in a busy outpatient clinic
- Manage preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute presentations
- Perform and interpret diagnostic testing and referrals as appropriate
- Collaborate with specialists, nurses, and care coordinators to optimize patient outcomes
- Document patient encounters accurately in the EMR and ensure data quality
- Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical governance initiatives
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, lifestyle modifications, and preventive strategies
- Contribute to teaching and mentorship of medical students and residents when applicable
Qualification
- MD or DO with board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active medical license to practice in California
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in general medicine or primary care
- Excellent diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EPIC or similar)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment
- Current BLS/ACLS certification
- U.S. work authorization or residency-based credentialing as applicable
