Ideal for candidates with a passion for mapping, data-driven decision making, and collaborative fieldwork.

What you’ll do: conduct geological mapping, supervise drilling and sampling campaigns, interpret core and outcrop data, analyze rock and mineral samples, prepare geological models, contribute to environmental baseline studies, and communicate findings to clients and internal teams.

We offer a competitive salary, strong benefits, mentorship from senior geologists, and opportunities to work on high-impact projects in mining, hydrogeology, and mineral exploration.

Responsibility

  • Lead field mapping and site characterization across multiple project sites in the Rocky Mountain region.
  • Plan, supervise, and QA/QC rock, soil, and water sampling campaigns.
  • Interpret geological data to develop 2D/3D geological models and resource estimates.
  • Collaborate with engineers, hydrologists, and environmental teams to support permitting and risk assessments.
  • Prepare technical reports, maps, and presentations for clients and regulatory agencies.
  • Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance in all field activities.
  • Maintain and calibrate field equipment, GIS databases, and data management systems.
  • Mentor junior geologists and provide training on field methods and data interpretation.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or related field; Master's preferred.
  • 5+ years of field-based geological mapping and exploration experience.
  • Proficiency in GIS (ArcGIS/QGIS), data analysis, and geostatistical techniques.
  • Experience with core logging, sampling protocols, and QA/QC procedures.
  • Strong report writing skills and ability to present complex data clearly to clients.
  • Ability to work in remote field locations, lift 50 lb, and adhere to safety standards.
  • Professional licensure or eligibility (e.g., state geology license) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
