Responsibility
- Lead and implement field surveys, mapping, and sampling in diverse geological environments.
- Design and supervise drilling programs and sampling strategies.
- Analyze field and lab data; integrate with GIS for robust geologic models.
- Prepare technical reports, maps, and cross-sections for clients and regulators.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards during field operations.
- Mentor junior geologists and geotechnical technicians; train on field methods and data collection.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hydrogeology, mining, environmental) to deliver integrated studies.
Qualification
- B.S. or M.S. in Geology, Geoscience, or related field; M.S. preferred.
- 5+ years of professional geologist experience in field and office settings.
- Proficiency in GIS (ArcGIS, QGIS) and geostatistical analysis.
- Experience with drilling oversight, core logging, and sample chain-of-custody.
- Strong writing and communication skills; ability to present to clients and regulators.
- Valid driver's license; ability to travel to field sites (up to 40%).
