TerraNova Geoscience Solutions is seeking a motivated Geologist to join our Denver-based team. This role focuses on exploration, resource assessment, and geological modeling across diversified projects in energy, minerals, and environmental sectors.
As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will conduct field investigations, collect and interpret geological data, generate comprehensive reports, and contribute to client deliverables with clarity and technical rigor.

Responsibility
- Plan and execute field campaigns, collect rock, soil, and groundwater samples, and document observations.
- Conduct geologic mapping and stratigraphic/structural analyses to support exploration and resource evaluation.
- Interpret geophysical, geochemical, and drilling data to develop robust geological models.
- Prepare technical reports, sections, and maps for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Manage data quality, coordinate with GIS and modeling teams, and ensure documentation standards.
- Assist in proposal development, budgeting, and project scoping; contribute to health and safety planning.
- Present findings to clients and stakeholders; support risk assessments and decision-making.
- Mentor junior staff and coordinate field logistics for multi-site projects.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Earth Sciences; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of field-based geological experience, with emphasis on exploration or resource assessment.
- Proficiency in GIS (ArcGIS, QGIS) and geological modeling software (Leapfrog, Move, Petrel, or similar).
- Strong analytical, technical writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to travel and conduct fieldwork in varying terrains; valid driver's license.
- Experience with health, safety, and environmental standards; field safety training is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and commitment to data integrity and regulatory compliance.
