Responsibility
- Conduct geological mapping, outcrop evaluation, and stratigraphic analysis in compliance with project objectives.
- Plan and execute field campaigns, sample collection, and core logging with meticulous documentation.
- Analyze geospatial data using GIS software to develop 2D/3D models and maps.
- Interpret geological data to assess rock properties, mineral potential, and geohazard considerations.
- Prepare technical reports, memory maps, and standardized data sheets for clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hydrology, environmental, and mining specialists.
- Ensure field safety, quality control, and regulatory compliance throughout all activities.
- Contribute to proposals, project planning, and knowledge sharing within the team.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or related field; master's preferred.
- 3+ years of field geology or exploration experience, preferably in mining or mineral resources.
- Proficiency with GIS (ArcGIS/QGIS), geological mapping, and data interpretation.
- Strong rock sampling, logging, and stratigraphic analysis skills.
- Familiarity with core logging, QA/QC procedures, and report writing standards.
- Ability to interpret geochemical and geophysical data and integrate with field observations.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills; valid passport and willingness to travel as needed.
- Proficiency in MS Office; programming or scripting skills (Python, R) a plus.
