Nexus Maritime Solutions is a leading provider of end-to-end shipping and logistics services across the Asia-Pacific region. We are seeking a data-driven Global Shipping Coordinator to join our team in Singapore.
You will orchestrate international shipments, optimize routing, and ensure compliance with customs and regulatory requirements while delivering exceptional service to our customers.
As a member of our Logistics team, you’ll collaborate with carriers, warehouses, and sales to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and improve transit times.
Responsibility
- Plan and execute end-to-end shipment movements across air, sea, and land to ensure on-time delivery.
- Manage carrier relationships, negotiate rates, and monitor performance against KPIs.
- Coordinate import/export activities, prepare and verify documents, and ensure compliance with Incoterms and customs requirements.
- Monitor shipments in transit, proactively resolve exceptions, and provide timely customer updates.
- Collaborate with warehouse teams, transport providers, and sales to optimize routing and costs.
- Maintain accurate shipment data in WMS/ERP systems and generate performance reports.
- Support regulatory audits and contribute to continuous process improvement.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding.
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs clearance, and HS codes.
- Proficiency with ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite) and MS Excel.
- Excellent communication and vendor management skills; fluent English; additional languages a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
