We are seeking a Shipping Operations Coordinator in Singapore to join our fast-growing logistics team.
You will collaborate with carriers, customers, and warehouses to smoothly execute air, ocean, and inland freight, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellent service levels. Responsibility
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping operations for import and export shipments, ensuring on-time delivery and accurate documentation.
- Communicate with carriers, freight forwarders, warehouses, and partners to optimize routing, rate quotes, and transit times.
- Prepare and verify all shipping documents (commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, airway bills) and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Monitor shipments in the TMS/WMS, proactively identify delays, and implement corrective actions with stakeholders.
- Track KPI metrics (OTIF, cost per shipment, dwell times) and drive process improvements to reduce cost and increase service levels.
- Coordinate customs clearance with brokers, manage HS codes, duties, and regulatory requirements for Singapore imports/exports.
- Maintain accurate master data in ERP (SAP/Oracle) and ensure data integrity across orders, shipments, and inventory.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- 2–4+ years of experience in shipping/logistics, with exposure to international freight, import/export, and customs compliance.
- Proficiency with WMS/TMS and ERP systems (SAP or Oracle); strong data entry and analytical skills.
- Strong carrier negotiation and vendor management abilities; track record of achieving cost savings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, collaboration, and customer service focus.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Singapore customs procedures and regulatory requirements; ability to stay updated on changes.
