Join BrightPath Guidance Center as a dedicated Guidance Counselor in the heart of Boston. You will support students across grades 9-12 with academic planning, college and career readiness, and personal development in a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Responsibility
- Provide individual and group counseling to students addressing academic planning, college/career readiness, and personal-social development.
- Develop and implement comprehensive, standards-aligned counseling plans and programs.
- Conduct assessments, maintain confidential records, and ensure privacy in accordance with FERPA and school policies.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and community partners to support student success.
- Lead career exploration activities, college application guidance, and scholarships/workshops.
- Provide crisis intervention, risk assessment, and timely referrals to campus or community resources.
- Monitor student progress through data analysis and adjust interventions to improve outcomes.
- Advise and mentor students on course selection, extracurricular engagement, and pathways to graduation.
Qualification
- Master's degree in School Counseling, Guidance and Counseling, or a closely related field.
- Valid Massachusetts School Counselor license or eligibility for licensure.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in school counseling or related setting.
- Strong knowledge of college admissions processes, financial aid, and standardized testing.
- Excellent communication, listening, and collaboration skills; culturally responsive with a commitment to DEI.
- Ability to manage confidential information and adhere to privacy laws (FERPA, etc.).
- Proficiency with student information systems and data-driven program evaluation.
