PT. GARSINDO UTAMA TRACTORS, a trusted provider of heavy equipment in Indonesia, is seeking a results-driven Heavy Equipment Sales Specialist to join our Bali team in Denpasar. This full-time position focuses on growing sales of premium construction machinery including excavators, wheel loaders, backhoe loaders, and bulldozers. The successful candidate will own the entire sales processâfrom prospecting and needs assessment to solution presentation, negotiation, and contract closureâwhile delivering exceptional customer service.
In this role, you will build and maintain long-term relationships with contractors, mining operators, rental companies, and government or municipal fleets across Bali. You will prospect new clients, qualify opportunities, perform product demonstrations, prepare compelling proposals, and tailor solutions to meet each customer's application and budget. You will negotiate pricing, terms, and service levels, and you will coordinate with internal teamsâengineering, parts, service, and logisticsâto ensure timely delivery, installation, and post-sale support. Your insights into market trends and competitor activity will help shape our product positioning and sales strategy for the region.

Responsibility
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive heavy equipment sales in Bali, focusing on territory growth and account penetration.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities, generate leads, and maintain a robust sales pipeline using a CRM system.
- Prepare and deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations tailored to customer needs and applications.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients, while consistently meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual targets.
- Build and sustain long-term relationships with contractors, rental companies, mining operators, and government fleets across Bali; provide ongoing client support.
- Coordinate with internal teams (service, parts, and logistics) to ensure timely delivery, installation, and after-sales support.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform product positioning and sales strategy in the region.
- Represent the company at customer visits, trade shows, and on-site demonstrations when required.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on sales experience in heavy equipment.
- Minimum 2-3 years of B2B sales experience in construction machinery or related equipment.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities in Indonesian and English; able to explain technical specifications to non-technical customers.
- Willingness to travel within Bali and occasionally inter-island; valid driver's license.
- Technical aptitude to understand heavy machinery products and applications; ability to read basic schematics or blueprints is a plus.
- Proficiency with CRM software and MS Office; data-driven approach to forecasting and reporting.
- Customer-focused, self-motivated, resilient, and well-organized with strong time-management skills.
