Responsibility
- Oversee hospital operations across clinical and non-clinical departments to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered care.
- Lead financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue cycle, and cost-containment initiatives.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, HIPAA, and state laws; implement policy updates and audit readiness.
- Drive quality and performance improvement using data analytics, quality metrics, and patient experience feedback.
- Manage human resources activities: recruitment, training, scheduling, staff development, and succession planning.
- Collaborate with clinical leaders to optimize patient flow, throughput, and bed management.
- Lead strategic planning, capital projects, and technology adoption (EHR, scheduling, and ancillary systems).
Qualification
- Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Public Health (MPH), or Business Administration (MBA); Doctorate welcomed.
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive healthcare administration experience; hospital leadership preferred.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards (Joint Commission, CMS), and privacy laws (HIPAA).
- Proven budget management, financial acumen, and experience optimizing revenue cycle and supply chain.
- Demonstrated leadership and people-management skills with the ability to build high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder collaboration abilities.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner) and healthcare IT solutions; data-driven decision making.
- Strategic thinker with change management and project management capabilities.
