Parkland Health & Hospital System is seeking an accomplished Hospital Administrator to oversee daily operations, drive clinical excellence, and lead a team of healthcare professionals in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
This role partners with physicians, nursing leadership, and administrative teams to ensure exceptional care quality, financial stewardship, and regulatory compliance across all departments.
Responsibility
- Provide strategic leadership to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered hospital operations across departments.
- Oversee financial performance including budgeting, revenue cycle management, cost control, and resource allocation.
- Lead administrative teams, manage staffing, recruiting, onboarding, and performance development.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards including HIPAA, Joint Commission, OSHA and state requirements.
- Drive quality improvement and patient experience initiatives using data analytics and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with medical staff, nursing leadership, and clinicians to align operations with clinical priorities.
- Lead capital planning, vendor management, and technology improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive hospital administration leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare laws, privacy regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Proven financial acumen with experience in budgeting and revenue cycle optimization.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and change management skills.
- Experience with EMR systems and health IT infrastructure.
- Ability to build relationships with physicians, department leaders, and community partners.
