Responsibility
- Oversee daily hospital operations, including patient flow, staffing, supply chain, facilities, and support services to ensure smooth and safe patient care.
- Lead financial planning and oversight of budgeting, cost control, revenue cycle, and capital projects to maximize value and sustainability.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with Joint Commission, HIPAA, CMS, and state requirements through policy development and audits.
- Drive quality and patient safety initiatives by monitoring KPIs, leading performance improvement projects, and standardizing best practices.
- Develop and implement operational policies, workflows, and service standards to improve efficiency and patient experience.
- Collaborate with C-suite and department leaders to translate strategic goals into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.
- Lead risk management, emergency preparedness, and business continuity planning across hospital operations.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or related field; Master's preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years in hospital administration or healthcare operations management; leadership experience required.
- Proven ability to lead diverse teams, manage change, and develop staff; strong coaching and collaboration skills.
- Deep knowledge of healthcare regulations, quality and safety standards, and performance improvement methodologies.
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems, hospital information systems, and data-driven decision making.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong financial acumen with demonstrated budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation experience.
