Responsibility
- Lead daily hospital operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-centered care across departments.
- Develop and monitor operating budgets, cost controls, and capital expenditure plans.
- Collaborate with clinical leaders to implement quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
- Ensure regulatory compliance (HIPAA, JCAHO/The Joint Commission, state and federal requirements) and accreditation readiness.
- Drive workforce planning, talent development, and a positive organizational culture.
- Oversee patient flow optimization, scheduling, and occupancy management to maximize access and experience.
- Prepare and present performance metrics to the executive team and board as needed.
- Lead vendor management, contracting, and supply chain initiatives to improve efficiency.
Qualification
- Master’s degree in Health Administration (MHA), Public Health (MPH), or related field; or equivalent hospital leadership experience.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive hospital administration experience with proven results in operations, finance, and quality improvement.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards, payer relationships, and patient safety frameworks.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, translate insights into action, and drive performance improvements.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems and healthcare IT solutions.
- Ability to manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and lead organizational change.
