SummitCare Health System is seeking a strategic Hospital Administrator to lead operations, financial performance, and clinical coordination across our busy New York facility. The ideal candidate will align frontline care with organizational strategy, strengthen regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of excellence in patient experience.
In this pivotal role, you will partner with clinical leaders, drive performance improvement, and oversee administrative functions to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality care.
Responsibility
- Oversee daily hospital operations, including patient flow, staffing, and facility management.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, financial forecasting, and cost containment strategies.
- Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards, HIPAA, OSHA, and state regulations.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
- Collaborate with clinical leaders to optimize patient experience and outcomes.
- Drive strategic projects such as digital transformation, EMR optimization, and vendor management.
- Provide regular reports to executive leadership with clear KPIs and actionable insights.
Qualification
- Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years of hospital administration experience, preferably in a multi- department setting.
- Proven track record in financial management and budgeting.
- Strong knowledge of Joint Commission standards, HIPAA, and regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and data analytics.
- Ability to lead change, manage multi-disciplinary teams, and drive strategic initiatives.
