NovaCare Health Systems is seeking a strategic and collaborative Hospital Administrator to lead the operations and performance of our San Francisco campus.

Responsibility
- Oversee daily operations across departments including patient access, nursing units, finance, and facilities to ensure safe, efficient care delivery.
- Lead financial stewardship, budgeting, and revenue cycle processes to meet targets and optimize resource use.
- Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, HIPAA, OSHA, and state regulations; implement policies and staff training.
- Drive patient satisfaction initiatives; monitor metrics and lead data-driven improvement projects.
- Collaborate with clinical leaders to optimize staffing, credentialing, and workflow efficiency.
- Strategize capital projects, vendor management, and contract negotiations to support growth and technology adoption.
- Champion quality improvement, patient safety, and risk management across campus.
- Foster a culture of accountability, servant leadership, and professional development for staff.
Qualification
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive hospital administration experience in a regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations (Joint Commission, HIPAA, EMTALA, CMS).
- Proven leadership, change management, and staff development skills; excellent communication.
- Proficient in healthcare IT systems (EPIC or Cerner) and data analytics; advanced Excel skills.
- Financial acumen with budgeting, forecasting, and revenue cycle management; experience with capital planning.
- Professional certification in healthcare management (FACHE) or equivalent is a plus.
- Ability to lead in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment with a commitment to quality and safety.
