As a key member of the People & Culture team, you will collaborate with leaders to design scalable HR processes, deliver timely guidance, and nurture a culture of high performance, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

What you will do is supported by modern HR technology and data-driven insights to help employees succeed and the organization grow.

Responsibility

  • Own full-cycle recruitment for non-exempt and exempt roles, managing candidate sourcing, interviewing, offer processes, and onboarding.
  • Deliver comprehensive onboarding and new-hire orientation to ensure a smooth and engaging start for every employee.
  • Administer benefits programs, leave management, and employee relations with empathy and consistency.
  • Partner with managers to develop performance plans, conduct reviews, and drive ongoing development opportunities.
  • Design and implement HR policies, programs, and processes that reflect regulatory requirements and company-values.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and maintain accurate HR records.
  • Analyze HR metrics, generate reports, and provide data-driven insights to leadership for strategic decisions.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of HR Generalist experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid knowledge of NY state and federal employment laws and best practices.
  • Proficiency with HRIS/ATS systems and reporting tools; strong data literacy.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Proactive problem-solver who can manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
