Private Advertiser, a reputable employer in the apparel and custom garment sector, invites a dedicated HR Generalist / HRBP to join our Bantul team. In this role, you will be the voice of HR across manufacturing and corporate functions, helping to shape people strategies that support our growth and operational excellence. You will partner with leaders to implement performance management, learning and development, compensation and benefits, and employee relations programs. You will manage recruitment campaigns for factory and office roles, oversee onboarding, and maintain accurate HR records in our HRIS data system. You will ensure compliance with Indonesian labor laws, monitor health and safety policies, and drive initiatives that improve employee engagement and retention. You will also analyze HR metrics, prepare reports for management, and support talent pipeline development.

Responsibility

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment and selection for factory floor and office roles, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and offers.
  • Administer onboarding and orientation for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and high first-day experience.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and HRIS data; manage employee profiles, contracts, attendance, leave, and payroll inputs in collaboration with Finance.
  • Partner with line managers to implement performance management, development plans, and talent reviews.
  • Administer employee relations, handle workplace concerns, investigations, and escalation as needed, while upholding company policies and local labor laws.
  • Coordinate compensation and benefits activities, benchmark market data, and support salary reviews and incentive programs.
  • Administer compliance with Indonesian labor regulations, safety policies, and documentation for audits; support payroll processing and tax reporting.
  • Analyze HR metrics, generate regular reports, and propose process improvements to increase efficiency and employee engagement.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in HR Generalist or HRBP roles, preferably in manufacturing or apparel sectors.
  • Solid knowledge of Indonesian labor law, HR practices, and payroll/benefits administration.
  • Proven ability to partner with management, influence decisions, and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; fluent in Indonesian; English is a plus.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and MS Office; ability to analyze data and prepare HR reports and dashboards.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, with strong time management and multi-tasking abilities; willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to be based in Bantul and travel as needed to support operations.
