Elmoz Geo Solutions invites applications for a dedicated HSE Staff to support our construction projects in Pekanbaru, Riau. In this contract role, you will help safeguard the health, safety, and environmental standards on site and ensure full regulatory and client compliance. You will collaborate with site supervisors, safety officers, and field crews to implement practical safety programs that protect workers and minimize risk throughout project activities. This position offers a stable contract arrangement with growth opportunities in health, safety, and environmental management within a dynamic engineering and geoscience company.
Key responsibilities include conducting daily on site safety inspections and risk assessments, monitoring compliance with K3 regulations and company policies, and leading toolbox talks to drive awareness across diverse teams. You will assist with incident investigations and near miss reporting, track corrective actions, and maintain comprehensive HSE documentation. Additionally, you will support safety training initiatives, coordinate audits, and participate in safety drills to sustain a proactive safety culture across all projects. You will also partner with supervisors to implement safe work practices and ensure proper use of PPE. This role also invites you to contribute to continuous improvement by sharing lessons learned and proposing practical mitigations that protect workers and optimize operations.
Placement is in Pekanbaru with standard working hours under a contract arrangement. The ideal candidate is communicative, detail oriented, and eager to contribute to continuous improvement in safety performance. Responsibility
- Conduct daily on site safety inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.
- Monitor compliance with K3 regulations and company safety policies across all sites.
- Lead toolbox talks and safety briefings for diverse crews to reinforce safe work practices.
- Assist in incident investigations, near miss reporting, and track corrective actions.
- Maintain and organize HSE documentation, records, and regulatory reporting.
- Support safety training programs, drills, and safety audits to ensure readiness and compliance.
- Collaborate with site supervisors to implement practical safety measures and proper PPE usage.
Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in HSE roles on construction sites preferred.
- Solid knowledge of Indonesian K3 regulations and ISO 45001 concepts; familiarity with PPE and hazard controls.
- Strong communication, reporting, and coordination skills in Indonesian (and English when required).
- Proactive, detail oriented, and able to work effectively with field teams in dynamic environments.
- Proficiency in MS Office; basic data management and documentation skills.
- First aid or basic emergency response certification is a plus.
