Responsibility

  • Diagnose and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, condensers, heat pumps, and boilers for residential and light commercial customers.
  • Install new equipment according to manufacturer specifications and local codes, wiring diagrams, and safety standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance, leak detection, refrigerant recharge, and efficiency optimizations.
  • Inspect and clean ductwork, filters, and ventilation components to ensure indoor air quality and energy efficiency.
  • Document service visits, generate clear estimates, and recommend upgrades to improve system performance.
  • Respond to service calls promptly, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain a professional appearance.
  • Adhere to safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and regulatory requirements while minimizing downtime for customers.

Qualification

  • EPA 608 Certification (Type II or Universal) and up-to-date training; relevant state certifications preferred.
  • 3+ years of hands-on HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair experience.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities with a track record of resolving complex issues.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record; ability to travel to multiple job sites within service area.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to translate technical details into lay terms.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and following safety procedures and codes (NEC, building codes, etc.).
