Responsibility
- Install, service, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections to optimize system efficiency and reliability.
- Diagnose equipment issues using electrical, pneumatic, and refrigerant test tools; document findings and propose effective solutions.
- Coordinate with customers to schedule service visits and provide clear, professional explanations of work performed.
- Follow safety protocols and local codes; maintain clean and organized job sites.
- Recommend improvements and upsell appropriate energy-saving upgrades when applicable.
- Maintain accurate service records and parts inventory; communicate needs to the team to ensure timely parts availability.
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC trade school certification preferred
- EPA 608 Certification required (Type I and II or universal)
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on HVAC experience in residential or commercial settings
- Proficient knowledge of electrical systems, refrigeration cycles, and controls
- Proactive problem-solving skills and strong communication with customers
- Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in various weather conditions, and climb ladders
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record; ability to pass background and drug screening
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and overtime as needed
