Join a leading HVAC team in Austin, TX. We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to install, service, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for commercial and residential clients. You will work with a supportive team, state-of-the-art tools, and a strong focus on safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction.
As a key member of our field team, you will diagnose issues, perform routine maintenance, assist with system commissioning, and ensure compliance with local codes and safety standards.
Responsibility
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections to maximize efficiency and reliability.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults using diagnostic tools and schematics.
- Read blueprints, manuals, and load calculations to size equipment and ductwork.
- Collaborate with project managers and contractors to ensure timely, safe installations.
- Document service work, parts used, and recommendations in the CRM system.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies; maintain a clean, organized job site.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining issues and recommended solutions clearly.
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or HVAC certification preferred (NATE, EPA 608, or equivalent).
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, refrigeration, and ventilation principles; ability to read schematics and blueprints.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, gauges, multimeters, and digital manifolds.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record; willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
- Commitment to safety, OSHA guidelines, and ongoing professional development.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, work in tight spaces, and perform strenuous tasks.
