Responsibility
- Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related equipment.
- Perform diagnostic testing and precise troubleshooting to identify root causes of malfunctions.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and system tune-ups to maximize efficiency and reliability.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and installation manuals to ensure accurate installations.
- Inspect electrical connections, refrigerant lines, ductwork, and insulation for safety and compliance.
- Provide clear, courteous communication with customers and document work performed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and local codes; maintain tools and inventory with meticulous care.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
Qualification
- High school diploma or GED; technical training or HVAC certification preferred.
- 2+ years of hands on HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance experience
- Proficiency with electrical basics, refrigerant handling, and safety standards
- Strong diagnostic and problem solving abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to read plans, schematics, and equipment manuals
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Willingness to work on call nights/weekends if required
