Responsibility
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems (including furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, and air conditioners).
- Install and commission new equipment, ductwork, and controls per specifications.
- Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections to optimize efficiency and extend equipment life.
- Test electrical circuits, refrigerant systems, safety controls, and energy management components.
- Read blueprints and technical manuals; interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Maintain accurate service records and communicate findings clearly to clients.
- Adhere to safety regulations and local building codes; operate with a strong focus on quality and customer service.
Qualification
- 2+ years of hands-on HVAC experience; strong diagnostic and repair skills
- EPA 608 Certification required (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work in various environments and lift up to 50 lbs
- Proficiency with electrical concepts, refrigeration cycles, and control systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to safety and quality; able to follow detailed instructions
