BluePeak HVAC Solutions is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to install, service, and repair heating and cooling systems across residential and light commercial properties in the Dallas area. As part of our field crew, you will diagnose issues, perform installations, complete preventive maintenance, and collaborate with project teams to deliver quality work on schedule.
Responsibility
- Perform installation, calibration, and repair of residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including furnaces, air handlers, heat pumps, and packaged units.
- Diagnose malfunctions using diagnostic tools, read schematics and wiring diagrams, and determine cost-effective solutions.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and seasonal tune-ups to maximize system efficiency and lifespan.
- Handle refrigerants, perform charging and leak detection in compliance with EPA regulations and safety standards.
- Install and seal ductwork, air distribution components, and controls to optimize airflow and comfort.
- Collaborate with electricians and other trades to ensure safe, code-compliant installations and minor electrical work as required.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining issues, recommendations, and maintenance plans clearly to clients.
- Maintain accurate service documents, parts inventory, and vehicle/technique upkeep; adhere to company safety policies.
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or HVAC certification preferred.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance across residential and light commercial systems.
- EPA Section 608 technician certification required; valid driver's license with a clean record.
- Proficiency with electrical basics, controls, and reading blueprints.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Commitment to safety, OSHA standards, and continuous learning.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varied weather conditions.
