Responsibility
- Design and analyze electromechanical systems for hydropower plants, including turbines, generators, transformers, and related auxiliary equipment.
- Prepare technical specifications, detailed engineering drawings, and project documentation in compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies, site inspections, and technical assessments to support project development and optimization.
- Collaborate with civil, structural, and electrical engineering teams to ensure seamless project integration and delivery.
- Provide expert technical support throughout the project lifecycle, from conceptualization to commissioning and operation.
- Perform risk assessments, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for existing and new hydropower installations.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones and quality standards are met.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, codes, and best practices in renewable energy and hydropower engineering.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electromechanical Engineering; Master's degree is an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in hydropower plant electromechanical systems design, implementation, or operations.
- Strong technical knowledge of hydropower generation equipment, control systems, and energy transmission.
- Proficient in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ETAP, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with national and international standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, ASME) for hydroelectric power plants.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities with experience in multidisciplinary project environments.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering innovative energy solutions.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility is preferred.
