About the role

In this role, you will lead process assessments, develop time studies, balance lines, and design layouts to maximize value while reducing waste. You will partner with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Safety teams to implement sustainable improvements that scale across multiple lines and shifts.

Responsibility

  • Lead process optimization projects across production lines using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Develop work standards, time studies, and line balancing to improve cycle times and throughput.
  • Design and implement efficient layouts and material flow to reduce bottlenecks and waste.
  • Analyze production data to identify root causes of variances and define corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cost-saving and quality-improvement initiatives.
  • Create data-driven dashboards and KPI tracking to monitor performance and sustain gains.
  • Lead continuous improvement events (kaizen) and manage project timelines and ROI realization.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, ergonomics, and regulatory standards while improving productivity.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing/industrial engineering or a similar environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred).
  • Advanced data analysis skills using Excel, Minitab, Tableau, or similar tools.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and MES for shop-floor data integration.
  • Solid understanding of time studies, work measurement, line balancing, and capacity planning.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management abilities.
  • Authorized to work in the United States (U.S. work permit or citizenship).
