Responsibility
- Lead cross-functional process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma to reduce waste and improve throughput.
- Analyze production and logistics data to identify bottlenecks, downtime, scrap, and variance; implement data-driven solutions.
- Conduct time studies, establish standard work, and develop detailed work instructions for manufacturing lines.
- Design and validate new processes, layouts, and line configurations to improve OEE and flow.
- Collaborate with Maintenance and Automation teams to implement preventive maintenance and reliability enhancements.
- Develop cost-benefit analyses and ROI for productivity projects; manage project timelines and milestones.
- Champion visual management, 5S principles, and continuous improvement events (kaizen) on the shop floor.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 3+ years of industrial engineering experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) and process optimization.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, JMP; Python is a plus) and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
- Experience with time studies, work measurement, and standard work documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with automation, PLCs, or manufacturing IT systems is a plus.
