In this position you will partner with cross-functional teams to implement practical solutions that scale with our growing operations.

Responsibility

  • Lead time and workflow analysis to optimize plant floor layouts and line balancing.
  • Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methods to reduce waste and improve throughput.
  • Develop process simulations and time studies to justify capital projects.
  • Collaborate with operations to implement standard work, SPC, and visual management.
  • Lead root cause analysis for quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Partner with suppliers and IT teams to optimize ERP/MES integration and data collection.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, BOMs, and standard operating procedures.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support training initiatives on continuous improvement tools.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with proven Lean/Six Sigma impact.
  • Strong knowledge of process mapping, time studies, line balancing, and work measurement.
  • Experience with ERP/MES systems, data analytics, and simulation tools (e.g., Arena, Simul8, or similar).
  • Proficiency in Excel, VBA, SQL, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience leading improvement projects and presenting to leadership.
  • Willingness to travel as needed (0-15%).
