What you’ll do:

Responsibility

  • Lead time studies, capacity planning, and line balancing to optimize production flow and reduce bottlenecks.
  • Design and implement process improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, DOE, and value stream mapping.
  • Conduct time studies and work measurements to establish standard work and improve labor efficiency.
  • Develop and optimize layouts, material handling, and ergonomic considerations for production floors.
  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, quality, and supplier teams to drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Define and monitor KPIs (throughput, yield, OEE, scrap) and implement data-driven continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead cross-functional improvement projects, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and mentor junior engineers.
  • Support capital projects, automation initiatives, and MES/ERP integration ensuring robust documentation and risk mitigation.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field; Master’s preferred.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing/industrial engineering roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, DOE, and statistical analysis (Minitab, JMP).
  • Experience with ERP/MES systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data-driven decision making.
  • Excellent data analysis, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated project management experience and ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of automation, robotics, and PLCs is a plus; willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a passion for quality and safety standards.
