Responsibility
- Lead time studies and process mapping to identify bottlenecks and waste in production lines.
- Develop standardized work, work instructions, and operator balance to optimize throughput.
- Conduct time and motion studies; balance lines and estimate capacity to meet demand.
- Drive Lean manufacturing initiatives (5S, Kaizen events) to reduce lead times and scrap.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Supply Chain to implement continuous improvement projects.
- Analyze production data (OEE, yield, scrap) and prepare actionable reports for management.
- Support design for manufacturability (DFM) and instrument process changes using CAD/BOM data.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing/industrial engineering roles.
- Strong knowledge of Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, SMED, Kanban) and line balancing.
- Proficient in data analysis with Excel; experience with Minitab, Power BI, or SQL is a plus.
- Experience with time studies, capacity planning, and process optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to read blueprints and process drawings; CAD experience is a plus.
