You will collaborate with operations, quality, supply chain, and maintenance to deliver measurable improvements in throughput, quality, and cost.

In this role, you will apply robust methods to reduce waste, improve cycle times, and ensure safe, reliable operations. This is a hands-on position with significant visibility and impact across the enterprise.

Responsibility

  • Lead time studies and workflow analyses to optimize line layouts and workstation sequencing.
  • Develop and implement Lean and Six Sigma projects to reduce waste and variability.
  • Design standard work procedures, work instructions, and ergonomic improvements for operators.
  • Model production processes using simulation tools and CAD when needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement capital projects and new line introductions.
  • Track key performance indicators (throughput, OEE, scrap, cost per unit) and report progress to leadership.
  • Coordinate root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues in production.
  • Provide guidance and training on process improvement methodologies and best practices.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field; Master's preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing/assembly environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean principles and Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher).
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools (Minitab, JMP, Excel) and process mapping.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and production planning.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project-management skills.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for plant visits or audits (up to 10%).
