Responsibility
- Analyze current production workflows and identify bottlenecks to improve throughput and cycle times.
- Design and implement process layouts, workstations, and material flow to optimize efficiency.
- Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Develop and monitor production schedules, capacity plans, and labor utilization against targets.
- Lead time reduction initiatives and implement standard work across shifts.
- Collaborate with QA, maintenance, and supply chain teams to ensure robust processes and equipment reliability.
- Collect, analyze, and present data to drive decisions and demonstrate ROI of improvements.
- Mentor junior engineers and support shop floor training and onboarding.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or warehousing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, Tableau) and process simulation.
- Experience with ERP/MES systems and plant floor automation.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
