Join a leading manufacturing company focused on excellence in industrial engineering. We are seeking a results-driven Industrial Engineer to optimize operations, reduce waste, and drive value creation across our Houston facility.
In this role you will design and analyze processes, conduct time studies, develop labor standards, and implement continuous improvement initiatives that improve quality, throughput, and safety.
You will collaborate with manufacturing, maintenance, supply chain, and quality teams to map value streams, define standard work, and deploy Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibility
- Lead cross-functional process improvement projects across manufacturing lines to reduce cycle times and variances.
- Conduct time studies, method analysis, and development of standardized work and labor standards.
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement tools to eliminate waste and improve quality.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance to optimize line layouts, material flow, and line balancing.
- Develop and maintain documentation including work instructions, standard operating procedures, and control plans.
- Track KPIs and present data-driven insights to leadership; lead ROI-focused projects.
- Mentor junior engineers and support implementation with training and coaching.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or closely related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on industrial engineering experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher), and process optimization.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, JMP) and experience with value stream mapping.
- Experience with ERP/MES systems and computer-aided tools for process design is a plus.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills; ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a data-driven, problem-solving mindset.
